I have been told that this song is an assault on "fake" hardcore bands. When he says "Either you or I or both must go" he means that if the scene keeps going the way of bands like Atreyu then he's leaving ("That's why I'm eagerly fleeing the scene") The last line, "I know the strippers real name", sounds like he's talking about M. Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold, who comes out with a stage name, covered in makeup and whoring himself and the music. It's a fucking awesome song regardless. |
