Well in Manchester and Liverpool he said it's about 'alcohol, love, sexuality and anything you want it to be'. I've also heard him say that the song came to his head while he was pissed on Rosé and he went away and wrote the rest of the song using the wine as a metaphor for love. |

This song isn't actually the version that appears on the Donny Darko soundtrack. That version is by Gary Joules. In my opinion Alex's version far exceeds Gary Joules and is almost as good as the original by Tears For Fears, and that is saying something. |

I'm sorry but this song is just poor in every way. With a mediocre and over-done 'teenage' meaning and abysmal lyrics this ranks down there with Together. I just don't get the whole fake, teenage suicide thing Avril has going on. |

I never really liked this song until I heard the mellowed down version on Best Of 90-00. It's still as catchy and upbeat as the original but not so 'techno'. This is really one of only a few songs that shine on U2's worst album. Still nowhere near as good as Stay though. |

Ok, I totally disagree with most of you. I think what shines about this song is Anastacia's voice and the lyrics. I think Ben's voice kind of degades the song slightly. It's too raspy and grates against what the song is really about. Still a great song and a pity that major retailers aren't planning on selling it becuase 'it isn't a likely to break the Top 40'. |
