| Glass Casket – In Between The Sheets Lyrics | 20 years ago |

I think that the song has something to do with sex, but i'm not sure about splattering sperm on someone's face. lol. It is possible, though, but I think he means that their relationship was based on sex, therefore "The best of us was left in your sheets." I saw the splattering paint line as more of an angry 'I'm going to kill you by splattering your own blood on your face' kind of thing. Just a thought. |

| Saosin – Seven Years Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
From an interview with Anthony... Wark: What’s the whole concept behind the “Seven Years” song? Anthony: Well, seven years ago I was just going into high school, and basically when I can out here to record this I was trying to like write about time references and it’s about the last seven years of my life, up until this point, and all the shit I went through with drugs and alcohol and shit that I had did away with, and music and trying to find people to work with and how it all came together, shit that I had been through with my family, and that’s the concept, it’s just the last seven years of my life, and I came out here to start something new. | Saosin – 3rd Measurement in C Lyrics | 20 years ago |

From an interview with anthony... Anthony: Yeah “3rd Measurement in C” for me, personally that song goes from about a relationship with my mom, to meeting these guys for the first time. And having everybody come out here and get together. Beau: like “get engaged…” (song lyric) Anthony: Yeah in California. My songs just range from different emotions, it’s just really personal. see for yourself at http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=23998 |

I'm starting to think that Anthony might know alot about Roman mythology, and that it might be what he believes in. Juturna (the cd name) is actually the Roman goddess of water, wells, and springs. This song, and some others on the cd mention water. Janus (Juturna's husband according to mythology) is the god of gates, doors, doorways, beginnings, and endings. Note again, that in this song, gates and doors are mentioned. He is also a god of the threshold between the old year and the new, and the year begins with January (which is named after him, and which is also a winter month.) The song talks about winter alot. I think that their might be a correlation between the song and Roman mythology. Just a guess. |

I think this song is about Anthony leaving behind his normal life to go join Saosin. As far as I know the story, Anthony is from Philly, and Saosin from Cali. A friend told Saosin about Anthony, and they came to Philly to see if he could be their singer. The line: "Only you mark my words to get engaged in California" I think he is speaking to Saosin about joining their band and making music with them in California. That's the line that got me thinking. Also, "Smile, my only right to passage." I think he's talking about Saosin being his opportunity to be the singer he's always wanted to be, cause as we all know, he has been in many bands prior to Saosin, and still has been in many after Saosin. I always thought he said "And I'm sad, but you'll be gold on my bed." That's what I thought it sounded like in the acoustic. Oh well, just an idea. |

This song isn't technically Saosin, it's actually only Anthony and Chris...I feel dumb for never looking that up, but it's on the Saosin site under additional discography or something like that. Still, awesome song... Ha, I have button clicking spasms. Same comment posted twice, wow. |

| The Sound of Animals Fighting – Act III: Modulate Back To The Tonic Lyrics | 20 years ago |

Maybe the song has something to do with Peter Pan and how Wendy eventually wanted to go home. "Brave friend horizon, bring me back to fourteen" I think that talks about how she wants to fly back home (their home number on their street was 14). So I guess it's about being stuck somewhere you want to get out of? Just a guess. Love the song, and the band is amazing. I give props to the person who saw that some of the lyrics were from Peter Pan, and thanks to whoever posted them. |

| The Sound of Animals Fighting – Act II: All is Ash or the Light that Shines Through it Lyrics | 20 years ago |

I think the beginning goes... "This box is lovely, that I made. You may hope I hollowed every part out, and now, there's no room left to grow." and the other part goes... "When she's heretic, my body is a wage I am burning in, wake up for this wish. In our resume, I have seen my fate, I am sinking, oh captain I am sinking." I may be wrong, but I gave it a try. lol. Thanks for posting the lyrics, most of them seem correct. |

| Saosin – I Have Become What I've Always Hated Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This is a great song, and I've been looking for the lyrics for a while. As far as I've heard, this was the last song Anthony recorded with Saosin before he left to start Circa Survive and The Sound Of Animals Fighting and such. But, I think Cove does a good job for Saosin now. And as for Anthony, he makes any band good, and I like everyone he's been in so far that I've heard of. | |
