Aha I love this song. First song I heard by The Hush Sound..definatly very catchy. I heard it once and found myself humming it the next day. Only certain bands could pull off something like this. Definatly well written, and glad someone else likes them =) |

I've noticed that it's hard to listen to this song without listening to the end of Get Busy Living Or Get Busy Dying (Do Your Part To Save The Scene And Stop Going To Shows) The: From day one I talked about getting out But not forgetting about All my worst fears are letting out He said 'Whu put a new address On the same old lonliness' When breathing just passes the time Until we all just get old and die Now talking's just a waste of breath And living's just a waste of death And why put a new address On the same old lonliness And this is you and me and me and you Until we've got nothing left... I love how it flows into the "I comb the crowd, and pick you out" I'm the same way with listening to Get Busy Living Or Get Busy Dying and not the first few lines of XO. Anyone else like this.. when 1 first heard this song, i loved it, and then had my friend listen to it. we listened to it like 4 times and by then she knew it. we had both seen spiderman 2, and we agree that it was written with the storyline of that, but you can definatly find other meanings.. that day we just went through and found things like "like the diamond in your ring cut to mirror your intention oversized and overwhelmed the shine of which has caught my eye" wasnt Mary Jane getting married.. diamond in your ring.. oversized.. like he could never get something like that for her.. its been so long, but if you look through the song you'll see some similarities between it and the actual movie, we found something for almost every line.. |

"I just wanna talk to you And my broken heart just has no use And I, I guess promsises are better left unsaid" i love that part. i know how it feels to need to talk to him and you just cant do anything with the broken heart that he left you with. for me, the promise was that he wouldn't hurt me, and that he promised he loved me. yea right, to both. then after everything, i knew i should just be like ok, im over it. i cant call him.. but i did because I was still in love, even though i knew he wasnt. i'm over him now, but this song does bring back a lot of memories. |

i love this song. i can really relate to it.. all of it actually.. "I think of you and everything's alright" It makes me think of the guy i like, because thats how i feel.. everything can be going wrong but when i think of him im suddenly ok.. this song makes me cry not sure why, but everytime, never fails. i still love it though :) |
