| Fall Out Boy – Sugar, We're Goin Down Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Tru dat. I was thinking it before, but I didnt know how to say it. Because alot of what the people in this are saying the song means, makes sence to me, but some of it just sounds like it has no relavence. But I think its because mostly people interperet music, as well as other arts to go with their lives, and things that have happened or are happening to them. I know I can relate this song in my own ways to my ex-boyfriend, but for some people they might relate it to other things or their own relationships, so it is very different. | |

But I think I’m just a notch in your bedpost, but you're just a line in a song means that he knows hes just been used, and how she just considers him a "notch" but hes degrading her to the same level by saying that shes nothing but a "line" in his song while at the same time showing that hes pained and or jealous by her actions without saying "You hurt me by using me, so ill pretend your nothing to me" |

I love this song, incredibly because i can rly relate to it. And altho I agree that the song is about a guy who was in love with a girl, had his chance and then she was done with him, there is a few parts I am not quite clear on if someone would care to explain 'em to me...like: Cause that's just who I am this week Lie in the grass, next to the mausoleum & Drop a heart, break a name We're always sleeping in, and sleeping for the wrong team If someone wants to help and explain what they think it means that would be great....thanks! |
