| Needs more comments. Music like this doesn't need lyrics. It speaks for itself. I wish I knew what they were thinking with the song titles which is what led me here. | |

I woke up full of ambition. Expecting the world was my oyster to crack. I ran the same rat race that the rest of the world does. It didn't work before but just maybe it will this time. By afternoon I'm disappointed that the big ideas in my head wont pan out. I finally realize the futility of running that race and look back on how I compromised myself and my inegrity to be like everyone else. Thats my take. |

This is my favorite song of all time, I still hear it almost daily and it never gets old. "And I feel them drown my name So easy to know and forget with this kiss" Going along with the death interpretation: the only thing that as humans can make us forget about our inevitable death is sex. Thats a fact. Its so easy to know and forget with this kiss. Think about it |

Chris Hani was no dictator. He was a freedom fighter. From wikipedia:Chris Hani, born Martin Thembisile Hani (June 28, 1942 – April 10, 1993) was the leader of the South African Communist Party and Umkhonto we Sizwe, the armed wing of the African National Congress (ANC). He was a fierce opponent of white apartheid rule and was sometimes perceived as a populist rival to the leaders of the ANC. He was voted 20th in the controversial Top 100 Greatest South Africans poll. He was assasinated on 10 April 1993 outside his Dawn Park, Boksburg home. Two white extremists, Clive Derby-Lewis and Janusz Walus were convicted of his murder. In 1997, Baragwanath Hospital -one of the largest hospitals in the world- was renamed the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in memory of Hani. Dave Matthews dedicated the song "#36" to him. |
