I really liked this song, but then I heard the lyrics were actually produced in something like five minutes. it kind of crushed me, because i used to think these lyrics had a deeper meaning. the song is about an ON/OFF relationship where the girl is less serious than the guy.. and the guy sees in the end that he can never be what the girl wants him to be and therefore the girl will never be serious about him. The whole tone of this song is very ironic. One more time with feeling! |

this one feels a bit too familiar.. I think it's about cheating in a relationship: "I think you used me again" --> about feeling insecure due to cheating or repetition of cheating. "Used" is the perfect word to describe the feeling. "Should we try this before we give up and move on And pretend to restore what we have and hold on" --> Dealing with the aftermath of cheating. "It's obvious" --> The thing that both are smiling and trying to look happy, but still both know the way things are headed. dramatic and lovely song!! |

I always thought this one was about being pergnant.. Atleast it would go with the first two lines: "She eyes me like a pisces when I am weak." --> A pregnant woman looking at her baby with ultrasound.. The fish reference could be, because the woman looks at her baby through a screen kind of how you look at fish through the tank. "I've been locked inside your heart-shaped box for a week." --> pregnancy Broken hymen of your highness i'm left black. Throw down your umbilical noose so I can climb right back. --> reference to abortion? the fetus is left black when dies and wishes to go back. heh.. I have indeed realized that the rest of the song doesn't really fit the theme. |
