ok, a different take on it from a politically vigilant, U.S. conspiracy theorist's perspective. The Govt. proclaims to people that its cock (power) is bigger than the publics'. It allows them to walk right through doors into homes etc. (also WACO/Koresh) -The public is not vigilant and doesn't recognize that rights are violated in that process. They instead love it and scream for more. not realizing that they may be next. The big dicks are cool under pressure, smoking stoagies like bigshots. They deny everything. They act like their actions don't stink, but in fact they stink way worse. They use spins/cover ups and come off as pure. 'Good job, give us more' as they they imprison/kill citizen offenders when they themselves have either had suspected ties of dealings, and even dealings and such in the open of scandals on huge scales. They are the regulators because they they proclaim so, they'll lay it on the table to prove it. Genocide does not have to be deaths of citizens over any given amount of time. It can happen slowly and gradually. I have heard of the erosions of rights referred to as a slippery slope. Genocide only means Gov't killing its own people. It can be opposed or unopposed by those same people, doesn't matter. When people see the government chasing the 'bad guys' they feel all good inside and the tendency to believe our leaders and blindly follow behind the cause of 'freedom' and 'justice' for the sake of 'patriotism' or national safety gets the better of our senses and we don't see how the other side is still us in a free society. Elections can go in either of two directions and neither is very different from the other. illusion of choice. We have no real policy choices made available to us directly. We don't vote on the military actions. Large media press doesn't report from many opposing positions. Sure, foreign genocide seems likely encouraged by our government's actions. Soldiers absolutely MUST do as they are told. I know alot of them wish it weren't so and would rather be in service during peacetime. Others are there for other reasons, they don't mind being the cock that the gov't. waves around, and we are being led to believe that we should/do love them. Sorry, I like to find alternative meanings to songs. You can only find them in the best of songs and sometimes a little imagination is necessary to make them work. |
