Is it just me or do you get a sense of emptiness from the music they are making, as if they are incomplete. I don't know if its because i know the whole story and im just sad that brad isnt with us or if you can actually sense it in there music. Its still good music just doesnt compare to Sublime. |

Yeah i prefer the sublime version, but lbdas did a good job with it. I think opie just lacks the intesity that brad sung with, still wicked music though |

i just love the way the song builds up, the acoustic progression as someone earlier put it. It starts off relaxed and gets more and more intense, kind of symbolising the way an addiction takes over you untill its so intense you cant shake it. |

I think heroine had a massive influence on him and his music, i wonder if they would have made music as good if he wasnt a junkie. I personally think he was a friggin god but i dont know if it would have been the same if he wasnt so messed up. what u think? |

well said. they have been pop for ages, some of thier older songs are good. Although i dont really like no doubt im not going to say someone would be pissed at them for something they did. I can't believe noone has pointed out that this song is VERY similar to the beatles lady madonna, it has the same melody and even similar ryhming. eg 'lady madonna children at her feet, wonder how manages to make ends meet' Anyway its the song that got me into sublime and im thankful for that. Robbin the hood is my favourite album to listen to after a smoke, that crazy raleigh guy trips me out hahahha. Keep listenin to sublime everyone and keep the memory of brad alive. Peace. |
