Got these lyrics from their myspace page.
Cannot begin to say how unbelievable this song and this band are. But you already knew that! Not sure what the meaning is although I read that they wrote it in remembrance of a friend of theirs who died recently. The guy's name was Shaun Luu, of course. Beyond that, I can't get most of it. Maybe what they are saying is that we are all going to die eventually, during the apocolypse. I think "lovers are asleep" might refer to lovers of Christ who still are mostly blind walking through life. Just my ramblings... |

I have to agree with machinegun a little on this. Socrates was put to death, some feel, because he chose reason over faith. IMO, man relies too heavily on his own reasoning and therefore cannot reconcile himself to God's commandments. God's commandments are simple yet we choose to reason our way around them when we only need to follow God. The "love of academic ability" is, in large part, what brings our culture down. That's not to say that knowledge should not be sought and that we should throw reason out the window. I merely believe that reason and knowledge should be secondary to faith. |

This is an awesome song, no doubt, but I was wondering does anyone know what the music is playing in the background at the end when the guy is talking?
IMO, this song is partly about television and mass media's long standing control over our youth. This is a call to take control of our lives and regain our world. |
