i don't understand why everyone insists it's "Theme TO Pinata" the official track listing, the insert sleeves, both say "Theme FROM Pinata". also, the lyrics suggest "I feel like a pinata", why would the song be TO a Pinata, if it's FROM the perspective of someone feeling like a pinata? |

second off, it's actually "Theme FROM Pinata", so you really should read the CD/LP inset/sleeve. but it's a love song, the first verse is of falling in love and hoping they will give him a chance. the second verse is about being shy and holding the crush secret, knowing they like him too, and wanting them to come open about it first- and/or, he's making them chase him. the third verse is using snowflakes as a metaphor for people- and while he knows there are flaws in people, he doesn't want to see them because at the moment, he's in love with everything and doesn't want to ruin that. |
