I love this song to pieces. The prostitute idea kind of crossed my mind, but more so I saw the drug dealer side; I totally pictured someone (the one portrayed as a drug dealer/prostitute) who really loves their party-crazy lifestyle, but is in a relationship with someone much more straight-laced who is picking them up from a rough situation, prison, something along those lines. |

I love this song, it's so gorgeous. It's about a couple that, having been brought together and having shared a pretty strong bond, end up moving apart - just because of personal experience I always think of it as one of them moving away. It's not so much being sad about the breakup as reflecting on everything it could've been ("from a house down the road from real love") and then being glad it happened. Then at the end, a sort of realization that after this nothing could happen anyway - "I'm not sorry there's nothing to save." Gorgeous. |

There used to be a girl in the band, you can hear her on the earlier CDs. In the song 'Sick Boy' when she talks, you can tell the difference between the girl voice/Mat's voice. This song is about wanting to be famous so that you can do anything. |
