| Robert Plant And Alison Krauss – Gone, Gone, Gone (Done Moved On) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
This is such a funky tune with some brilliantly simple, but moving, lyrics =D Fairly obviously it's about a man contemplating leaving his lover because of the way she treats him. Or the other way around, a woman leaving a man. Depends on what gender the audience is =) as it's sung by both Alison and Robert, a woman and a man. |

| For goodness sake, the slang for ejaculation is spelled "come", and the substance in which the sperm swim is spelled "semen". | |
| Rush – Spindrift Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Where are the waves that will carry me a little closer to you? I believe that the narrator of the song is lamenting a lost person, someone who "talks that way" and he is wondering why he's so distant and the person is being so cold to him, and he has mixed feelings of love, confusion and anger. Neil Peart is a lyrical genius. I admire him as both a godly percussionist, and a poet. He is a truly ethereal man. |

| Ignite – Strength Lyrics | 18 years ago |

This is blatant theft from Iron Maiden's - Can I Play With Madness. The Iron Maiden song starts with "Give me a sense of wonder To know I can be me Give me the strength to hold my head up Spit back in their face Dont need no key to unlock this door Gonna break down the walls Break out of this bad place" How have they got away with this? |

| Just a mention of Graham Chapman, the teacher in the video and member of Monty Python before his tragic death. The Can I Play With Madness video was the last film he ever featured in before he died. Although, what a way to end a film career!! | |

| Rush – Natural Science Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This song is amazing, absoloutly brilliant. It's a shame it's so underrated. When they play it live it's just..oooh...as it were. | |

| Why does anyone even try to interpret Pink Floyd songs? | |
| The Alan Parsons Project – Eye In The Sky Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I think that this song represents someone who has ended a relarionship that consisted of too many lies on the part of their partner. He is describing how he can see through those lies, but is still sad as he remembers some of the times that were so good that the lies were worth believing. | |
| Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This song reallt means alot to me at the moment, it makes me feel alot better about a hard break up with a girl, I just sing along, especially to the "Wish you were here part".... | |
| Rush – Freewill Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| The original lyrics sheet was written "Hevn't mad e achoice" but upon singing he found he sounded like he was saying "have", decided this was better and continued it like that. This is an amzing song, the whole Permanent Waves album is amazing. | |
| Eels – Last Stop: This Town Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
"Can you take me where you 're going if you 're never coming back?" He doesn't want to leave her, he wants to go with her but can't, and despairs at this. |
