Haven't read any of the other meanings but this is my idea, i think it fits pretty well:
"the hand that feeds" is a reference to god, and challenging the idea of god "are you brave enough to see? do you want to change it?" Are you brave enough to see through the charade that is religion... |

maynard is very clever he wrote this song to relate to the mythology of orestes but a metaphor of what Twizted was talking about, that to prevent killing one close to you you must cut all ties.
