Yeah, I saw Rove doing her film clip. It was actually kinda lame... They played this song so much on the radio that it kinda ruined it for me. But it is a great song, and even those who dont like Missy know the words. One of my best friends is a huge fan and my other best friend absolutely hates her, so we have debates about it alot. But how can you argue with the emotion in her voice? She sings with feeling, and her accent (somewhat bogan but I love it) add power to her songs. |

| When I first heard this song, I didn't know it was a cover. I seriously thought that it was an old man singing about his life, and how sad it is to be old, and that now he is old everbody is dying. After I heard the NIN version, I was like, oh it's just a creepy freak who is singing on and about drugs and he sounds like a paedophile (sp?). Of course, afterwards I learnt about what it really was, but I still prefer the Cash version. The NIN version has almost no meaning compared to the Johnny Cash one. Basically, there is so much emotion in JC's voice and in NIN... he just soundsd like a creep. (BUT I do like the NIN version, but just not nearly as much.) | |

I also live in Adelaide but im not rich :D nutmegs, how could you be rich by moving here? it is a semi boring place i supose, there's not much in the way of tourist attracitons but it is the capital of South Australia which is the only state not founded by convicts and stuff... I read in the paper yesterday that a filmclip for his new song was filmed at his house here in Adelaide, does he maybe come here for holidays? He doesnt mention Johnny though. Do you guys know Johnny? he walks up and down Rundle Mall in Speedos and gumboots, he has his own website too. you could try searching it if you want. |
