"True, I am the son of an angel
Maternally, not one woman compares"
Obviously about his mother. That 'cyberiouse' person needs to stop making up stories about songs and claiming them to be true. |

| Hole – I Think That I Would Die Lyrics

I’m not saying Kat Bjelland wrote the ENTIRE song, but I know it began back in the Pagan Babies/Sugar Babylon days. And if you look at the lyrics, or actually listen to some of the songs (like 'Quiet Room' or 'Best Sunday Dress'), you would realise it's not quite like something Bjelland would have written in the Babes In Toyland era. So it's not impossible that Bjelland originally wrote this song.
I'm taking this straight from the Live Through This album sleeve, and it says:
'"I Think That I Would Die" written by Hole and K. Bjelland.'
So there is proof that she had some sort of impact on this song, and this only would have happened in the 80's, when Love and Bjelland were in numerous bands together. In fact, I read somewhere that Bjelland wrote most of it, but then left it, and later Courtney Love and Eric Erlandson finished it off. Whether or not it actually happened like this, I don't know for sure.
If you listen to Babes In Toyland's 'Ariel', you will notice the similarity between that particular song and 'I Think That I Would Die'.
As far as the whole Courtney Love being psychic thing is concerned, here is a quote from her that states: "I'm not psychic, but my lyrics are." |

Sounds like someone playing part of the 'Stairway To Heaven' riff just before the last time Courtney screams "Shut up!" |

Courtney and Kat used to write music together before they went their own separate ways. You'll find quite a few similarities in their songs, particularly the lyrics, from both bands. |

I don't really know what this song is about, but I think 'Agasaya', 'Amberella' and 'Govinda' are goddesses. |

I don't know about that. The demo version was called 'Eye Rise', and had no reference to the word 'Ariel'. Therefore it couldn't have been based on her niece. I thought Kat was an only child anyway? I don't know, I could be wrong. |

| Katastrophy Wife – Layne To Rest Lyrics

This song is Kat's tribute to Alice In Chains' frontman, Layne Staley. The song is about Staley's death. The title of the song suggests this, as does this line in particular:
"Alice said eat your head/Chained to meds/kills Layne dead".
'Alice' and 'Chained' refers to the band's name, although 'Chained to meds' also means that Staley was addicted to drugs, and because of that he died ('kills Layne dead').
There are some references that Staley's death was a suicide:
"I know that things look brighter on the other side" |

"Mother/This is my life"
"You are me/You are me"
Kat wrote this about being abandoned by her mother when she was five years old. |

This is a song Kat wrote about being abandoned by men.
"To be left alone is the marrow from my bones/You are the one"
"Feel like a mother fucker/When the curly black hair on my sweater spells SAM was here last winter" |

There are also some references to when Kat was stripping for money. She would think to herself as she took off her clothes:
"Flies through the air with the greatest disease" |

Kat wrote this song about two drunken men who once tried to grope Lori, after a Babes In Toyland show. Lori just fought back with her fists.
"You know who you are/You're dead meat motherfucker/You don't try to rape a goddess" |

| Hole – Good Sister/Bad Sister Lyrics

I think it was written about Courtney’s relationship with Kat Bjelland. They were like sisters, but she didn’t feel Kat always treated her right. Courtney describes herself as a hideous scar on Kat’s back; something you don’t want but can’t get rid of. Courtney and Kat used to fight over the ‘babydoll’ look (“Better burn that dress sister”), boyfriends, and even the music they wrote (Ever noticed the similarity between Hole’s ‘I Think That I Would Die’ and Babes In Toyland’s ‘Ariel’?) She doesn’t want Kat to treat her badly anymore, so she says “Better watch your back, sister” |

I think this songs was obviously written about babies and pregnancy, but is also tied in with body image and bulima. I also think it's about Frances being taken away from her so-called "un-fit" parents. Clove is sarcatic about being a bad mother, with the line "I don't do the dishes/I throw them in the crib" |

This song was not written about Frances Bean being taken away from Courtney. It was co-written by Kat Bjelland of Babes In Toyland, back in the late 80's before CLove even met Kurt. Even look in the booklet of 'Live Through This' |
