| Frank Zappa – Bobby Brown Goes Down Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
" One should never look to deep into frank zappa's music, i think" tree*huggin, are you daft? That's like saying one should never look too deep into the works of Jonathon Swift! Zappa was a brilliant satirist, and it takes shocking, ridiculous concepts to get the point across with satire. |

| Frank Zappa – My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Mama Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| According to Zappa this song was pretty much made just to appeal to a mainstream audience | |
| Godspeed You! Black Emperor – BBF3 Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I'm pretty sure you're wrong, bocmaxima, as Blaze Bayley is the name of the old lead singer of Iron Maiden. If they didn't know that "Virus" was an Iron Maiden song, why would they name their song after him? | |
| Arcade Fire – Neighborhood #4 (7 Kettles) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
The guy is fed up with his current situation, but he's trying to tell himself that things will be better. In a few years, he'll make a family and live happily for the rest of his life. When he says, "My eyes are covered by my unborn kids," he's saying that the fantasy of raising a family helps him to close his eyes to his situation. If he sticks it out just a little bit longer, everything will be alright. The only problem is that he has been sticking it out, and as time drags on the possibility of change is looking more and more hopeless. That's my interpretation anyway. I really love the Arcade Fire and think all of their songs are beautiful. |
