to me this song is about lost love. when you love someone so much and you're used to a relationship and something goes sour, and about moving on and being willing to let it go and be happy with yourself, and what's meant to be will be sort of thing. maybe it just means that to me because my boyfriend and i just broke up after an almost 2-year relationship. like this: "When you're too in love to let it go But if you never try you'll never know Just what you're worth" and this: "When you lose something you can't replace When you love someone but it goes to waste Could it be worse?" sum it up for me. but then it makes you feel better with the whole "lights will guide you home" thing. relax and enjoy life, basically, and it will get better. AH ok. anyway, it gives me goosebumps. |
