Tyler, the Creator – Yonkers Lyrics 14 years ago
The message? When Tarantino wrote Reservoir Dogs, he wasn't telling people to cut each other's ears off. He was writing a narrative. Tyler's doing the same - it's context for the music. How come suddenly every musical act has a responsibility to its audience? That's why I hate stupid loaded words like 'rhetoric' - it's not his mindset or his creedo, it's just prose.

I can tell it's not the first time that Sara Quin's written an open letter, sounds like she's afraid to go outside.

Radiohead – Just Lyrics 20 years ago
I've always thought the opening chords sound more like Rape Me by Nirvana. At least the first two.

Nirvana – Radio Friendly Unit Shifter Lyrics 20 years ago
Oh, yeah! This is one of Nirvana's best distortion based songs, which is saying something. It's mocking MTV and how they made Smells Like Teen Spirit so popular and mainstream, not because they liked it or anything, but only because it made them look cool to children who would watch their show, buy their merchandise etc. Kurt hated this.
