this song is about a break up, yes, it starts off on the phone but it tells a story after the phone call. it means that someone is trying to speak through tears, making them speechless. but they dont know why the other person doesnt want to continue."offering, little what it knows". then the other person hangs up. there is silence on the other end of the phone. his heart was in his throat through out the conversation because he was nervous and scared about what the other had to say. but then the heart breaks because the phone call said that the relationship was no longer alive.so as he calms down it leaves his throat and settles back. now all he can do is remember what the relationship was like "when heaven is remembered but never seen". but it meant so much to him that the memory is distorted.distorted by his love and anger. distorted like a kalidoscope. it feels as though he is remembering from the heart not from the mind.he is so sad that the sun will never be as bright as it once was.it has set to mourning.the "contoured are the backrounds on the canvas to which our lives are painted " means that theyre lives will never be the same. well thats what i think anyway |

| this song is about sum 1 he no's who has become relativly famous. it's about the choices they made and how they can't believe it's happening. he's telling them that he believes in them. but as the song goes on it gets darker. mayb they get big headed wat eva. he then tells them that it cant last forever "your neon daydream will shatter and break" and that he's not telling them coz it's for their career he's telling them it coz he still cares. but the person doesnt listen and pitifully struggles on and they dont realise its over. when they finally realise they think its coz of their looks and then it hits them that all of the people who helped them are gone coz of the things they did to get there. | |
