Alright i love the new sound of KoRn. If u don't well take a shit and get over it. Now first when i listened to it, I thought i was talking about how some one connects to the music that they are listening to, how it goes inside and u feel it deeply, like beautiful electric waves get inside u so connecting that it is almost orgasmic. But after closer study of the lyrics both with the music on and off. i think it is about a Chick(one of those poser gothic chicks) that gets herself in a situation that involves something sexual and at first she likes it but more into it she doesn't she tries to stop but can't and yeah. I love this song.... Even though i've already learned when Trent Reznor uses "She" in a song it is not about a woman or relationship it's about an object that may have the same effect on a person just like a woman would. With that being said ,to me the song would be about something that consumes me completely and draws me in easily, {because being female i don't know how that "woman" effect works or feels exactly} [[Wave goodbye To what you were The rules have changed The lines begin to blur She makes you hard It comes on strong You've finally found the place where you belong]] To me that means that "thing" (or person-_-) has consumed you so, that you think this is a warm place and youi have changed yourself for it. I have to atmit i didn't like this song on the first listen but after a few more times i love this song now. I think it's about it's about growing out of somthing, or seeing that you don't need this thing that is "bringing you down" the part["Yes I'm alone, then again I always was As far back as I can tell I think maybe it's because you were never really real to begin with I just made you up to hurt myself And it worked...yes it did"] I think implies that he realized With or with out this bad thing he was alone and after what ever he was "on" wore off he felt worst because he was already alone. I think tis song is about living in your own Reality and not seeing things the way they really are And being afraid to he how you really are. The lyrics are straight forward but Trent's voice is soft and mellow through the song so the song plays more on your emotions (that's if your really listening)... This is one of the few songs that brings tears to my eyes. for many reasons... |
