I cant belive some ppl heard this on the oc i think a show like that would ruin it. I love this song. when im really down on something this song makes me feel like i can go on and that I'll get through. It also makes me think of how i could help my friends who are going through though times.
I think this song is about a friends view on someones trouble. they gonna try and fix you. I think this song spills the trust so well cause we all know that we cant fix everything and this song makes no promises. it just speaks the truth. I will try and fix u |

on the clip to this song it shows the war in iraq so it could be about september 11 but i think it has a deeper meaning. there are so many reasons behind this song but i really belive that billie is mainly talking about how he just wants all the bad things to go and wake him up when it all ends. |

I love this song but its not all acoustic there are some really beautiful string sounds in the second half. How can u guyz laugh about the line all over ur brand new rug. I think its really meaningful. they're talking about how u can crash and mess someone up but u still need their help. I really like this song. |

ummmm... im a bit relentless on posting this cause of all the arguments about wether or not this song is about drugs but one of my music teachers who is beatles crazy said this:
this song is about paul Mc Cartneys relationship with Marijuana, he is saying when he's down or needs inspiration he can use Marijuana and come up with answers or motivation
Paul also make a statement about the legality of Marijuana in the second verse
the lyric "Let it be" is a statement to his band members and the people in his life not to worry about him and his use of Marijuana, they all need to let him be.
as i said this is my music teacher view not mine and if it is the true meaning i think it spoils a beautilful song
