I got the album last night and all I can say about it is that it TOTALLY ROCKS!!!
This song is amazing. It's gets us thinking about the shit that we're taking in from people of authority. We have to take it and like it kind of thing. I think of brainwashed people when this song plays.. those of the usa who are eating the crap george dubya is feeding them. Maybe Trent had that in mind when he was writing it. |

This song is about someone who feels the need that he has to deal with other peoples problems and handle everything for them, as if they can't do it on their own. Kind of like a superman if you will. |

Is it me, or is this the most confusing song on the entire album. Not only that, this is my least favourite song. I just skip it on my CD.. I think it's horrible. |

I can't believe nobody has commented on the meaning of this song. I happen to think Trent is writing about someone who is lost and needs time to join someone or something. Maybe about a person who has just realized that where he is in life isn't for him and he wants to go over to someone else who is living a better life and it'll just take some time ot get there.. hence "Beside you in time". |
