hmm i agree with Schorschinho ^ when they say that it seems the song has 2 totally diff parts (mayb thats cos im not scottish...) i totally agree with their interpretation of the situation in the 1st part aswell, mayb its cos ive bin in tht situation and u tend 2 look 4 things that relate 2 u in songs... "And even if the breath between us smells of alcohol Call it confusion in the best way possible" really makes me wna cry n it really seems like its about 2 ppl who r frends but 1 feels a bit more n doesnt really know wot 2 do about it but wants sumthin more, and the other sorta feels more than jus frends but doesnt want a relatrionship or anything so they r jus settled with doin things wen they r drunk so u can jus call it confusion since its really wot it is!.... the verses kinda relate 2 this cos while u were frends u had all the answers but sumthins changed and now u dont, n its sorta changed 2 quickly 4 u 2 b able 2 make sense of it at all. its also like, in the chorus, "So I'll wait til I find the remote part of your heart Nowhere else will let us choose a comfortable start" the person who feels more and does wna do sumthin about it knows that nothin successful cud happen while the other person is so unsure, so they will wait its sucha sweet song! personally, i wish it had been 2 separate songs tho with the diff bits cos i really think u hav 2 b scottish or woteva 4 the second bit 2 PROPERLY appeal xxx |

aww i luv this song, its really cute i like to think its about when u really like some1 but u know really a relationship wouldnt work in reality...so you're jus happy to settle with woteva u can get n tryin 2 convince the other person that 2 just go with the flow 4 that 1 night... tis sweet! n o so true 2 how u feel in this situation in real life! |
