To me it seems that a man is visiting an old girlfriend and realized that he is still in love with her. I think the man left the girfriend and when he visits her he realizes that he was the one who should have been dumped and is reflecting on how is sleeping alone "The badge" - refers to a pass for the apartemnt building of his ex "the only thing keeping me dry is where I am " - says to me that he's trying not to cry in front of her "I was the one worth leaving " - comes of as he shouldnt have left her but she should have left him b/c he was the one worth leaving thats what I got out of it, reminds me of a past relationship, or maybe i'm just trying to force a connection? |

| Alright first off it IS a tribute to former front man Syd Barrett, The lyrics "Can you tell..." refer to him loosing his mind after dunking his head in a bathtub full of acid and loosing all ability to percieve things as they truely are in the real world.
