Reminds me of David Bowie - Space Oddity. Which is about a Junky, so I am guessing (By the lyrics) it's the same thing. |

| A Perfect Circle – Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums Lyrics

On the Album Thirteenth Step, the song PET was written (Just like a majority of the songs on that album. A Perfect Circle mentioned that the theme of the album is that of a 12-Step Program. 'The 13th Step'. get it? Look at the progression of the themes of the songs and make your own decision) about numerous amount of people Maynard (Anyone in the band for that matter) knew and has seen throughout his/her Drug Addiction(s). Where for 'Counting Bodies like Sheep...' it is made into a Political song obviously about George W. Bush, however it's a little more in-depth than that. My guess is it's about George Bush's addition for War and Power (Not so much the war in Iraq specfically) and whatever else that fits underneath that category. Also remember (For those who have said that Maynard has no meaning with his lines/lyrical work). Maynard said himself in Revolver magazine, that the line "Counting bodies like sheep to the rhythm of the war drums..." was political. So as you can EASILY see I've put meanings to both the songs (PET and Counting Bodies Like Sheep...) together...Go me!@!!%$^#! |

LOL I cant believe he thought Kurt wrote this. The line "It's better to burn out than to fade away" was put in Kurt Cobains Retirement Note (Alledged Suicide Note). I am not much of a Neil Young fan but I love this song. R.I.P Kurt Cobain. |

Firstly, I'd like to say I think APC did a great job on this John Lennon Cover (RIP). I was asked once "Why do you think APC did this song they way they did (Rhythmic)? 'Cause they want to create/keep a heavy metal/dark feel within the band and its fans or is there another reason?". Personally I would say it's because they want to remake a song made in the era it was created in (With the hope of peace and etc.), with the dark feel of todays Current Affirs around the world. |

What shits me is people say "I think this song is about...when its been posted two or so times what is was/is about. Incase you haven't got the messege yet, you didn't read it or you're just completely stupid. It's about two women Mykle and Carli (Sisters) who ran the Weezer fanclub '93 to '97. They also helped with JEW to get off there feet. Then in 1997 they tradgically lost they're life in a motor acciedent. 'Hear you Me' was they're phrase and apparently they lived by it. So once again, a wiser user has come along to attempt like many others have in knocking some scene into other pathetic users. |
