oh gawd, jimmy eat world's SOUND has been my boyfriend since i first saw them. i was walking into the concert and they were playing sweetness and i almost DIED. their sound was just... i couldn't get away from it. they're so together and SO STINKING AWESOME, it's not even funny. when they opened for weezer in kc, they were (no offense, =w= fans, i love weezer....but seriously,) KICK BUTT compared to whatever weezer thought they were doing. sure weezer had the light show and they sounded just as great as ever, but when jimmy was up there, it didn't matter, those guys were definitely there because they were psyched about it. they were all over the stage dancing any chance they got, and when weezer got up there....well, shit. they didn't move at all. seriously, rivers just stood still the whole time. they all just seemed so disinterested. it was sad. |

*sigh* good times.. this song will always remind me of one of my oldest and silliest obsessions with a boy. this was the song he played the moment i stepped into his car: he looked at me, and told me i was beautiful. he told me that a lot. we were really cool friends for a while. then he graduated. now he's on tour with his band. we went everywhere in that car. we'd drive and talk forever. he'd look at me and i'd melt. but it wasn't meant to be. sad, i guess. whew, look at me getting all sappy en shit ;) i'd better stop. |

uhm. i just like glassjaw...? and especially this song. it's the first song i ever heard of theirs and i fell in love with the sound. i don't know anything about these guys, but i do think the lead has a really unique voice, and i love it. ps--people here are so positive. |
