There are a lot of backmsking phenomena in songs. Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven has a large section, about 4 sentences, about Satan. E-mail if you want me to direct to a site with lots of backmasking songs. And as many people should now, the Beatles were heavy into drugs, much of it acid and other hallucinagines. I have heard from multiple people and sources and they were simply lamenting Paul's death, and were on acid when this song was written, explains the wierdness I think. Thats my 10 cents worth.... In response to the song and lyrics, its not impossible that this happened to JPJ. So what if hes a respectable person, it could have happened to anybody. And if they were drinking or on any other drugs, it would have been quite easy. And in response to Adman, their fourth album was not released on Aleister Crowley's birthday, it was released on November 8th, and Aleister Crowley was born on October 12th. I suggest not throwing people off with your Christian bias opinions and research a little bit before saying something like that. |

Some songs are not necessarily meant to have one specific meaning or another. Some say this is about a drug addiction speaking to the addict, some about a father and son, and some say it's about war and America's domination over the world. I tend to go with the war theory more than any other, but I think it can be interpretted differently by different people depending on their personallity, life experiences, and mood your in at the moment you are listening to it, and I think that is perfectly fine to interpret it different ways. |
