Blah. =/ He's also feeling like he's really fucked himself up because of it and there's no mercy because it's his fault he is, but yet he still feels something for them even though he knows it's wrong. Bayside IS TOO AMAZING FOR WORDS. They are who I have declared my musical god, a very *high* honor. I mean..some of their lyrics are simply and to the point ("there's a voice in my head telling me why I should hate you but I hate myself instead") but the simplicity just conveys the depth of the emotion so well. I mean they sing about things a lot of people experience while still expressing how serious they can be and not making the experiences seem like something everyone experiences and unimportant. I. Love. Bayside. They are an amazing band! |

| I posted a correction for the lyrics, I love this song so much, it is one of my favorites. This is an amazing song. To me, this is about a guy who's had a breakup maybe and is treating himself really badly over it. Drinking, doing drugs..he's feeling numb and he's angry with her but he's taking it out on himself and is upset with himself about it. He's also | |
| Jack Off Jill – Angels Fuck Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| The last line, "it will always hurt you fucking asshole" makes me think that he did something serious to her that will always be a part of her and affect her forever, or he caused her to do something to herself and she'll have to live with that forever. Also, the whole "Angels fuck and devils screw" thing makes me think that angels can be just as bad if not worse than devils. Angels seem so good but they can be rotten, but devils are what they are and you know it. That *may* also *maybe* (lol) be interpreted as you really hurt me, you're an ASSHOLE, but I feel like a bad person here. | |

| Ok i'm going to put my lil twist on something that sleepflower said. (And yes, it's so great that the lyrics can mean different things to different people and still retain their depth! I love that..*worship JoJ*) "There's no price tag on my concience here's your answer it's still fuck you" I think that could say that you can't buy me or try to persuade me, I know what I think it right and what I believe in so fuck you if you have problems with what I think and believe. I love that line =) | |

| Thornykins I totally agree =) I was reading down and was just like "OMG, yes, but someone PLEASE comment on it.." you did! Woot! It can also be like everyone loves her (Her doesn't even have to be Jessicka, you could generalize it too, but there is a very good connection there) and adores her and idolizes her but she's really a bad person, a bad role model, and you could maybe say that like kids today don't want good role models we've got all these bad ones and that's who they look up to and maybe it could be about she feels bad for maybe being one of them? That may be pushing it. Just possibilities =) | |

This song is really cool, but I haven't been able to find a full length copy of it, I only have a verse and a chorous to mine, it is a really weird song but in a totally good way =) I mean at a first blush to the lyrics it could be about how youth today really just don't care about the elderly, I mean you know field trips to nursing homes to talk to them or play games but they just don't really care. Maybe? |

I see a couple possible meanings to this song. One, I think it could be about being screwed up yourself, and there's someone rotting away in front of you and part of you just wishes you could just fade away too. You know, you envy them for being able to just let themselves rot away but there's something holding you back, you hide all the destructive things you do but just are envious of how they're fading.. Or it could be about a relationship of some sort. It could be abusive, "one bullet in this gun not sure if it's for you or me", angry at him for hurting her so badly yet so angry and upset with herself she doesn't know who she hates more. "All, all that i'll ever suffer/All, all that i'll ever be/All, all that i'll ever ruin you can always cover me with makeup" All that she suffers could be suffering from him, and all that she ruins could be she ruined something with him and she just hides it all away, or it could be she hurts herself somehow and she can hide it from everyone. "When it burned it smelled like you but it scorched and looked a lot like me" Hurting herself over him, yes you could link the whole thing to self-injury, you're motivating me and yet i'm hurting myself not you..It's a really really great song. I can interpret it to mean self-injury and self hate and being afraid to trust and it can have a really deep meaning for me, yet someone else can interpret it into a relationship and the hurt from themselves and the other person and it can have a deep meaning for them too and a lot of JoJ's songs can be like that. So good =) |

| I like whawt KillMeFaster said about how superficial everything is. "Girls vomit candy and lies that they're fed/Boys whisper lullabies and wet their beds" We impose ridiculous standards and we're screwing ourselves up, girls with eating disorders and how it's just inappropriate for males to cry and little boys whispering lullabies and trying to comfort themselves but they can't openly do so..you could also link that to "Robots steal emotions hide them under their beds".. I also think the 'little friend' can mean anything to anyone, a vice, a habit, that can take on a personal meaning. Although, psychedelic, I do see what you mean! Curious. It's a really beatiful song =) | |

It could very well be about heroin, "Horse made of black tar" Black tar heroin.. Also, as KillMeFaster said it could be about someone you love dying and being angry "Sick Girl want to cry Said Good -Bye And Damn You" So in a sense it could be maybe that they both are/were heroin addicts, and that she's high but he's dead and so he can't feel it "Horse made out of Black Tar Kept us Safe from Harm The day with no emotion We drift into the sea All I could remember I wished I wasn't me " Perhaps there it expresses the day that he did die, and how they were using heroin to help cope with their problems but that day he died, and she was just numb to it all and depressed wishing to be someone else. Maybe. Oh. What does this song mean to me? *didn't see that* To me it means coping in unhealthy ways, being numb, not knowing who you are and not being comfortable in your own skin, istlessness |
