Yeah the song is awesome, a very powerful and emotional song...and these guys are releasing their eighth album so im all smiles:D- anybody want to chat to me over msn just add me lol- and this is a great song- see also "pry to" and "animal"....yeh jeremy left this "plane" for revenge because everyone was giving him shit. his parents ignored him, his teachersa ignored him, he was bullied at school. it all adds up in the end to one big bang! Plus im sure there was a girl he loved in class but she didn't return that love. im sure every guy has felt that feeling before. am i right fellas?? |

| I've read over this "War" and its quite childish really- it keeps going back and forth, back and forth and "recruitments" keep coming in and it goes on and on and on...korn is spelt with a backwards R! not a k! and they are a good band- the best of their albums would have to be their first self-titled album. seriously dude, if you hate korn keep it yourself or go back to your room and listen to britney spears or jessica simpson. while the rest of us listen to REAL music- and secondly, Korn is not a satanic band- they are just a band with issues, satanic bands would be something like slayer or sepultura- which both rock by the way and dude, there is a difference to listening to heavy metal and BEING heavy metal with piercings and shit...seriously, for the sake of the fans, grow the fuck up | |

I put the ideas of the masaman trilogy aside and just think of the song as a depressing song about a bad break up. I agree with what that guy says above, saying how he drove the girl away. To me, this song is hauntingly beautiful as someone once said. It's about the guy feeling really upset and suicidal after the girl whom he loved has left him and so he decides to leave everything and go into hiding. "I got scratches all over my arms... One for each day since I fell apart"- this is about self-infliction. the guy feels hopeless without his girlfriend so he cuts himself. "I did what I had to do. If there was a reason, it was you" - he disappears from his social life, his family and his ex-girlfriend who wants to be his friend. Ed uses his voice well in this song and displays pain in his voice. I think he killed himself in the end with a pixture of his ex-girlfriend on his chest. great song, really beautiful. |

I have been scarred so many times by my ex gf that I'm convinced she's the devil herself.
