Red Hot Chili Peppers – Snow (Hey Oh) Lyrics 18 years ago
This song is about heroin. The slang term 'snow' is usually used to refer to cocaine, but can also mean heroin. In this case the Chili Peppers likely mean heroin, since 'hey-o' is also slang for heroin.

'Deep beneath the cover of another perfect wonder,' probably describes the feeling of being high on heroin. Although I have never used H, this line seems to reflect the feelings that heroin users have of being "deep within" while on the drug. It's not likely that this description refers to cocaine, which does not create this same feeling.

Finally, I don't think this song is about recovery from addiction or any crap like that which people have been saying. Or about any "struggle" with drugs. This song is about how awesome drugs can be and how you feel so high on them.

The song ends on a positive note, with the writer proclaiming his love for heroin, "I said hey oh yeah oh yeah tell my love now."

I love MJ.

Once me and my boyfriend got stoned and drove around looking for a local hookah bar that I had been to several times before. An hour or two later, we finally found it... good times.

Oh, shit, my bad, this song is on Mer De Noms. Well, whatever, I still think you can look at it having to do with drugs.

Now I haven't read through all the comments, so I'm not sure if someone has mentioned this before, but this song could be about drugs. Many of the songs on the Thirteenth Step refer to drugs, and could be interpreted that way, and this is one of them, also. Being overcome by the drugs, and compelled to throw money down, wasting away his soul for one taste of the drug. Black Madonna is a possible opium reference.

Dry Kill Logic – No Reason Lyrics 20 years ago
I agree with Cyanide on the breakdown. I think on a deeper and perhaps even more haunting level, the song is clearly about ideas of suicide and "not letting them get to your head." The last line trails off beautifully, almost as an expression of the someone putting an early end to their life.

Puddle of Mudd – Out Of My Head Lyrics 20 years ago
I think the song is about drug use, and his friends critizing his drug use, while being hypocritical. They act dirty, meaning they use drugs also, but they keep themselves so clean -- as in, they keep their reputations clean, so they can still be judgemental. "I'll hold the sky" or "in the sky" is often a drug reference.
