Clearly those guys who shot up the school had some problems—well, even more than just some—and I can’t see how you can say their ultimate self-destruction (along with the destruction of others) is dumb. True, the media was dumb for laying the blame on Manson and true the way the news handled it was dumb…but you can’t just say the actually shooting was dumb. (Well…you /can/ it just seems…wrong.) Yes, some, if not all, of the people who were killed had done something that would deserve a retaliation (maybe not murder) but…again, maybe you should’ve tried a different word. Repeating verses is commonly used in nursery ryhmes, most nursery rhymes repeat verses, as it's simple to read and to understand for children. I might get a lot of stick for this but Manson is a lyrical genius and his lyrics are highly underrated because of his image. It's sad, because he truly is one of the best, if not THE best lyricist of our generation, along with Eminem (people will debate that too). I again agree totally with one of your posts. There are some police officers who don't fit that description, true that, but all of these shinanagins (dear god, did I just say that? o.o) the police are pulling is just..disgusting. Its fits what these lyrics are saying to a tee...ee.And it's spreading through more and more police officers. Und my poppy-ta got much shit from the police for most of his life, so...I must agree.
