Anyone who thinkgs that punk rock was just about hatred and nazism seriously needs to brush up on their music history...some of the most important punk bands' messages were about anti-racism and peace, same as the hippies ten years earlier. It's possible to combine two idealogies in one song without being contradictory.
And yeah, decent song, would have been nice to be around with all that revolutionary spirit in the air. |

I think Rosetta Stoned is more of a prequel to Lost Keys - the guy's tripped out on DMT and it's completely messed up his mind, so much so that he's catatonic and keeps reliving the trip even once he's been admitted to hospital. |

I'm dead certain this song is about infidelity - "love is a doing word" seems pretty obvious, and "gentle impulsion shakes me" seems to be guilt. I think it's about how she's cheated on someone, and even though her tears show she's sorry for what she's done ("most faithful mirror"), it's not enough to make up for it ("teardrops on the fire of a confession"). I still have no idea what "fearless on my breat" means. |

I like the version of this that's on the Australasian release of 40 Oz. better, it just seems smoother and more laid back than the Sublime one. |

Minor quibble there, but I really like that verse of the song. He's saying that you shouldn't dwell on the past and might-have-beens, because things will work out anyway. |
