i get so worked up to this song. it makes me think of all the injustice ands tupidity and hurting in the world and i start going ape shit.l its good for before sport but i start listening to it on my i-pod and suddenly i'm starting fights and throwing shit around. its a big think when music gets my so riled up. the only other songs that make me get so damn indignant and upset are anema (tool) passive (apc) and dead drunks (deloris) |

i don't actually think this song is sympathising with 'adam' at all. actually i think blink are mocking him. the impression that i get and of which my dad (pot head muso) agreed with, is that adam is being selfsih. and i know thats hard for those who are or have been contemplating suicide and that this song is an inspiration to them. i really do understand that. i've been there. but blink are saying adma is being selfish. stupid. he's playing for sympathy (please tell mum this is not her fault). i know that seems for face value to be telling his mother its okay, but don't you think he woudl have wrote her a letter not said in a song. it just seems he's playing for attention. if i were his mother i'd feel MORE not LESS guilty if my child said that to me after his or her suicide. i don't know how to explain it fully, but the feeling he impression that i get is that they are paying him out, telling him stop dilly daddying. as i said tis hard for me to explain. probably because i never bother, (speaking of bother that song by stonesour si fucking awesome). but thats just how i feel. i'm not bagging the song our not am i bagging blink out. far from it. i love this song because it made me feel like a prat when i was feeling like that. and blink was the first cd i ever bought. bhudda when i was 6 coz i liked 21 days ....awwwweeesome song. |

according to an inteview with branden flowers (the lead singer/song writer) its about looking back and smiling and accepting the choices that you made. and even though there were bad and hard times you get through them and eventully can smile again even if the pains still there. its not NOT about a relationship. he was really specific about that. great song great clip he really likes that shade of lipstick and style of eyeliner doesnt he? he's worn it in every clip |
