| The Divine Comedy – Here Comes The Flood Lyrics | 20 years ago |

I think this song is all about fear and how people are told by the media that their lives are in danger. It appears to be aimed at Americans, but I think it applies to most of the Western world these days - the last lines say it all: If you believe all that you read You'll know the end is nigh We're gonna die!! |

I love the line "Lights come on as you lay your weary head on their lawn" To me it sort of seems that Ben's getting at people who say they're Christians but don't actually let Jesus into their life - they leave him outside on the lawn... |

| Hehe, I always thought '25 in thirty days' meant that he was turning 25 in a months' time. Duh! I guess that shows how song lyrics can be interpreted differntly by everyone. :) | |

| The Divine Comedy – Songs Of Love Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Its such a beautiful song. I think he's saying how he'd rather be writing songs about love than be with all the people who are out running around trying to find love. It gives me such a nice picture in my head of someone who lives above a coffee shop trying to write a love song. | |
