really lovin this song...reminds me of a fella i used to be with but not n a steady relationship with..just always kissed him and stuff but then we just kinda drifted apart for a wile and wen we got n touch again i found out he had a girlfriend but i got on well with her cos he woz happy. they broke up,we kissed again and then she revealed she's pregnant and he's still with her but apparently he's not happy but everytime i see him he's tellin me how much he loves me and that i'm the only person that gets him and everythin,kinda hard to take cos i'm a bit of a commitment freak but its just so confusin with the girlfriend and everythin, but anyways yeah..this song really reminds me of him and our situation. |

yeah people who left the 1st few comments she doesn actually means he'll die if she dumps him..he will die inside though. she knows it would hurt him so much if she woz to finish it all or if he woz to lose her cos its already tearin at him that someone else can make her happy. he's maybe hopin that she'll see sense and stay with him cos he obviously loves her beyond all reason. and they do say love is blind. i think it's a really good song cos its frm the point of view of a cheater and shows that, although cheaters are always portrayed to be pure heartless but she shows that some of them do regret it,they don't like what they're doin but maybe its just lik an illness - an addiction to the other person. |

the old man dies at the end of the song in my opinion and i also agree that this song is about the life and how u deal with what comes to you, this is obviously being told by the older man. i also think that he dies happy in the knowledge that he has bestowed his wisdom to someone else for them to also pass on. "And in his final words I found an ace that I could keep." this seems like the old man's words have helped the singer and so he dies knowing he woz successful. great song. |
