The last two lines are basically saying, with this pen I create a bridge from my heart to your distress. The use of 'wed' is basically a metaphor for connecting, using a marriage metaphor (also implying a permanent or lasting connection). My favourite Gaslight song, it's simply amazing. |

A Valkyrie Missile is a missile used to carry atom bombs during the Cold War. In Toms own words, the song is about massive destruction, ie the end of Blink, but great hope and optimism, ie with new band Angels And Airwaves. This is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard. |
