| blinkguitar, I'm with you. This seems a little too... I don't know, Maroon 5. It's too synthized, too... I dont know. Alk3's rough edges are what always made them great, and this new sound definately doesn't suit them. The Split is worlds better than this. | |

Please, please, please tell me this song is a joke. Lyrics are great, wonderful, a little dumbed down for alkaline but whatever... but what is this horrid sound when I play it? It sounds like Alk3 is trying to be trendy and failing... the chorus is decent, but getting there is muder. I really don't know what to think about Alkaline any more. |

As much as I hate to admit it, I'm with Nick. I got my hands on an advance copy of Crimson and I wanted to cry. I stood up for Alk3 during Good Mourning when all my friends said they sold out, and I LOVED the hot water split, but crimson guys... it's really bad. Really. Horrifically. Bad. There's still some hope in my mind it was just a little April Fools joke they pulled, and I'm seeing them live this Friday still, but... it's really bad, guys. think good charlotte, but LESS talent. synthesized vocals, everything. i was with alk3 since their first cd... this blows. |
