Jesus Walks is one of those songs that will never go away. And thats a VERY GOOD THING!!! Kanye is one of those emcee's who just gets a messege into your head. This song focuses on what is needed to be said, "To the hustlas, killers, murderers, drug dealers even the strippers To the victims of Welfare for we living in hell here hell yeah" Hell Yea they world is fucked up right now, and he showing everyone how screwed up it is. "We rapper's is role models, we rap we don't think!" thats a powerfull message. People think all rappers just got ho's, money and drugs stuck in durr heads all day. NOT TRUE!!! Kanye shows what real rappers want to talk about. They good people, all of em, (except 50 cent!!! Fake ass nigga) Well Jesus Walks, it's so powerfull, I really can't even explain it. I think everyone should listen to this song, EVERYONE, and get the message into their head. "Hip-Hop is a passion. A life. A style. A soul. You can't describe it. You can't compare it. It's just itself. It has been so commercialized over the years that most people don't understand whats really there. When people see a hip-hop lifestyle they see sex, drugs, money. But that is not what hip-hop is at all. Thats just most of the commercialized part of it. Real hip-hop music is life, death, happiness and struggles. A beautiful struggle. Phillisophical rappers like Nas, Common, Talib Kweli and Kanye West show what real hip-hop is about. Life, death, happiness and struggles. Life's a beautiful struggle." ~*~Me~*~ |
