| This song is about fads, constantly changing, and the want to fit into them. It doesnt matter how fake you make yourself to be, the only happiness is fitting in. The most important thing is just to be what everyone else wants to become; so long as you're first with the newest clothes, the newest music, you're on top because you can flaunt how much higher you are than 'they' are. This is definately a sarcastic song, suggesting just the opposite of what it says. It's a really good song. I agree with Arabella about i being catchy. The entire reverse-message in it, along with the tech-ish beeps is what makes me love it. | |

I think this song just says that everything you see or feel is what YOU take it to be. It doesnt have to be one thing or the other because it's only an opinion, and not a fact. The trick to it is, you have to remember that just because something doesnt make you cry, that doesnt mean it wont make someone else to just that. Your perception is different from anyone else's, and so you have to sometimes control that; there are more than two sides to everything. If you let just your side control you, you'll be lost in it, let it get a strong enough hold and it becomes all you can think about, then it becomes who you are. I really am just guessing, but that's what it seems like to me...I tend to ramble a whole lot when I think. |
