| Alkaline Trio – You've Got So Far To Go Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| He instantly falls for this girl as soon she walks in the door on what's probably a first date and they seem to have amazing chemistry. Then, as he's walking her home he puts the moves on her, but she isn't into him. She gives the excuse that she's got a far way to go to get home. Having a long way to walk isn't a real reason not to kiss. Much like "I've got to get up early tomorrow" this is just her way of letting him down lightly. He accepts this response "Oh yeah, I forgot you've go so far to go" although he knows it's just an excuse. "Way to go, way to go" is his internal monologue congratulating her on coming up with that excuse. | |

Just a girl enjoying some dirty, sloppy sex. Love how the poppy rock music contrasts with the dirty lyrics, but it's much more elegant than a typical dirty rap song. She's singing an ode to come. @thiel I'm sorry about whatever happened to you to make you hate one of the main by-products of sex and probably hate sex itself. But, get this, some girls actually like the tastes and smells of sex, including a man's come. That's right, not just porn stars! And it doesn't make them dumb, feminist, nor anti-feminist. This shouldn't offend or threaten you. Feel free to continue having missionary sex in a bed through a hole in a sheet. Just keep in mind that some people get off differently than you do. Some people lick toes, some people wear leather. Liz Phair drinks come. |

| Love this song on the Black Album as well as the Grey Album. All I can add is that the quote is from Millie Jackson. | |
| Fort Minor – Bloc Party Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Incredibly hot song. I think "Cannibal wax" is actually "Cannibal Ox", a hip-hop duo. | |

| I want to confirm that the "fallen milkman" line is about Bleach Boys by the Dead Milkmen. Can't remember where I learned that, though. | |

I first misheard "terrors" as "terrorists", thinking this related to something about 9/11 perhaps. However, after learning the lyrics, this is a small stretch, but I can still see this relating to someone pitying the evil of a terrorist, the narrator. If he was a good person he might have suffered (humored/appeased) the children, but instead he's a "madman" "undeserving of your sympathy" who's not sorry for what he did. But he doesn't feel bad about the bad things he did, possibly because he felt they were necessary (a terrorist rationale). He's obviously going somewhere and not coming back, which implies he's dying, possibly as a suicide bomber. The ambiguity of war makes him toast the "good" guys and the "bad" guys. Some might call him a monster: "For the monsters that I *been" (been is the actual lyric). And as he goes out to complete his final mention, he tells his spouse/kid/loved one to not worry about him and (perhaps) go back to bed? Anyway, that's the interpretation I choose to associate with this song. |

| Eminem – Bitch (Skit) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This skit's purpose is to show that Eminem's music is not for everyone. He is also mocking his critics, by comparing them to this woman. | |

I, too, didn\'t think much of this song until I really listened to it. I agree with ingramcolt\'s interpretation. I think the chorus lyric \"If you still care at all, don\'t go, tell me now\" is actually \"If you still care at all, don\'t go tell me now\". It\'s just removing one comma, but the second interpretation has the opposite meaning of the first. He *doesn\'t* want to know anymore. It\'s too late. |
