| Children of Bodom – Chokehold (Cocked 'n' Loaded) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
1. This is not a song that Bodom put out to say "Hey, watch me shread!" This is more of a rhythmic based song. Bodom focuses on shreading in their first 2 or 3 albums, not HCDR. So lets not get too mean on Alexi Laiho, he's really young after all. 2. This song is about a boozing, raging psycho who just luckily enough happens to pack heat. He started out as a normal guy but something in his life (Booze im sure) sent him on a downward spiral, for a downward future. So he goes out blasting. Tool... |

| Children of Bodom – Sixpounder Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Cannon references: "Awaiting the first Sixpounder" "I'm gonna show you battle" "Like a spark resist you Pounder!" "War!" "I'm meant to blow you way" "Load the Sixpounder" or "Louder Sixpounder" You could link the cannon as a metaphor for abuse, but I honestly think that's stretching it. This isn't In Flames, it's Bodom. All the cannon talk is about cannons, I'm sure of it. |

| Children of Bodom – Northern Comfort Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Northern Comfort is about a man who abuses alcohol to the extreme and ends up killing himself. The reaper comes and takes his soul, etc. bodom. etc. Southern Comfort is a crappy hic liquor used mostly in Alabama Slammers. Northern Comfort most likely comes from just plain avoiding copyright infringement, or Finlands location on the Earth. | |
| Children of Bodom – Knuckleduster Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| It seems that a certain someone witnessed something that he shouldn't have, and the suspect is warning the witness not to say a word, or "Knuckleduster beat you six feet under". A knuckleduster is a street term for brass knuckles. And trust me, its "feet under" not "feed under". | |
| Children of Bodom – Sixpounder Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Well, I personally hear him saying "louder sixpounder". But considering this song is about the sixpounder cannons, which was the main cannon used by americans and british in the 1800's, "Load the Sixpounder" would make more sense. Either way, its not about abuse, despite the music video. | |
