This song reminds me of Vonnegut. I think it's God Bless You, Mrs. Rosewater, where a character writes a welcome for his neighbor's newborn babies, and it's just telling them what he thinks everyone new to the planet should know, eventually just saying "Goddamnit, babies, you've got to be kind!" I never read it, so I could be wrong, but that's the gist of it. |
