Not much to say about this song other than that it is catchy. It is all calm, than it picks up dramatically. I like the "ogh--we-ogh-we-ogh," he adds in, it is a very nice touch. He is trying to comfort a girl who had a bad dream, but she is ill-tempered. Simple. |

Is he saying today's society is like a zoo? Perhaps it is not just a random silly song. Obviously, there is a homage to Muhammad Ali's "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee." |

If I am not mistaken, this song was made specifically for the anime FLCL. The grunge hamster trying to be mature is Naota and the Lobster of revenge dragging the hamster is Mamimi. I do not know why "grunge hamster" is used for Naota. I will take a wild stab and say that Mamimi's animal is a lobster since it suggests her hair color? Also, regarding revenge, she has a lot of it. I cannot comprehend the rest of the song, is it just random? |

It is about this person trying to cheer up a consistantly sulking girl. He has full faith that she has the potential to be happy. Also, on the last paragraph concerning growing pains and heartbreak, I believe it hints that he would like to have a relationship with her(I'd like to take you beyond those clouds.) Needless to say, it is a positive song. |
