It's obvious what this song is about. "I Should Have Never Let You In Your Soul Is Full Of Sin Always Trying To Do Me Good, Digging Up The Corpses Again." It's about when a person seems good as gold from the start, doesn't really have to be a relationship either, but you let them get close. Then as time goes on you start to find out things about them. their true colors emerge. No matter what level of "sin" it is from a bad personality to actual acts against humanity. But you only become more curious as to what you can find out, and attempt to rid yourself of the "corpses". |

After just getting out of a 2 year relationship, with a situation similar to this one, the meaning of this song could not be cleaer to me. He was betrayed by someone he put his trust in, hence the line about other men having you on the avenue. Basically what this song is stating is to rid yourself of the memories. Because there is no chance of getting back together. And dweling on them will only consume you. This is clearly stated by the line "Or kiss your ass goodbye". He's saying to get over the person, to move on, and not be brought down by the memories that try to push you to go back to the person even though there is no chance of it happening. Either that or you can choose to remember and live in sorrow. At least that's the message I got from it. |

| This song is pretty self explanatory. I shouldn't even have to comment. They're saying when they grew up, they weren't these rich types that drive daddy's $200,000 car and get along with everyone. They were outcasts. They were poor but still had their own ways to stay entertained and get by. They had almost no friends at all. They were desperate to fit in. And made the wrong choices in doing so. They gained some popularity and cool points as they got older. But mainly only because of their music and publicity. Basically they are saying, "People only like us for our music. Other than that It's the same as it was before." I lived this type of life and still do to some extent. But you know what J and shag, the world is shit. 99% ain't even worth fitting in. I got my girlfriend, and my best friend, and I couldn't be happier. That is not a bad analogy Stalker. I too like twisting the meanings of songs on occassion to suit my own personal feelings and shit I might be going through. Unfortunately I hate to burst your bubble but there are far too many other feelings to this song for it to be a love story about a relationship gone bad P.S. - Just checked out MSI for the first time and THEY LICK GIGANTIC DONKEY BALLS! OK I just thought of something else. oKySP could be right also. The two lines: dreams of earthquakes, dreams of hurricanes, dreams of pouring rain, dreams of tidal waves, (to wash us all away). and dreams of morning grief, dreams of disbelief, dreams of tragedy, dreams of our defeat, (to take us all away). are probobly referring to the belief of cleansing the world to start over. This is clearly indicated by the bad dreams of war and destruction whether by man vs. man or man vs. nature. Utimately both situations will result in all life being destroyed and people having to start over. That is his dream. It's indicated by the lines, "To wash us all away" and "To take us all away". But the linbe, "...all gone" directly after these verses means that nobody really cares what his dreams are and it will never happen. |

OK it just dawned on me. Bush h8er was right. Chad is talking about a world of peace and unity. The line: dreams of earthquakes, dreams of hurricanes, dreams of pouring rain, dreams of tidal waves, (to wash us all away). dreams of guns blazed, dreams of fire rage, dreams of swollen graves, dreams of hollow pain- ...all gone. Is referring to the fact that his dream is about these types of thoughts being erased from scoiety hence the, "All gone". The part where he states: dreams of fidelity, dreams of inner peace, dreams of loyalty, dreams of unity- ...all gone. Is referring to the fact obviously that no one focuses on good anymore. At least that's my view on it. |
