This song is awesome. I'm 18 and I find it depressing that our generation can't come up with music as good as this. I'm sure its out there but the shit that kids my age listen to these days shouldn't be allowed to be called music. Its as if they really have made music illegal like in Joe's world. Guitar solos aren't allowed any more. Songs more than 2 minutes long aren't allowed any more. Songs that sound slightly different to anyone else or which aren't "politically correct" aren't allowed any more. I know I'm exaggerating but it feels like creativity isn't allowed in music anymore. |

Its irrelevant whether black sabbath was spiking or snorting heroin at the time. Its about taking drugs to forget the atrocities of war, only to see it catch up to you and slowly destroy you from inside. to "I LIKE BEANS" D minor progression is not really that technical. Maybe if u took the time to understand the basics of music i.e chords, you might understand the songs slightly better.

what i get from this song is a guy that met a chick he is madly inlove with but knows that they'll never get together. i dont know much about poetry and deep analytical shit but thats what i getfrom lines like:
