| Showbread – Dinosaur Bones Lyrics

I thought it was sort of about how people try to follow Jesus in many differnt ways, sometimes ways other people don't like "they paint it colors i can't stand" but it all comes down to the same message "but they will not touch it's heart".
Sometimes people try to tone the gospel down or change it to try and make it more appealing to other people "they stick tacky ornaments on it and they sell it to the kids" but no matter what people do the true message will live on. "but there's still a voice in it ". |

| Five Iron Frenzy – Mayonnaise Taco Monday Lyrics

This song is about a government conspiricy. Down in Mexico, people are being forsed to eat Mayonnaise Tacos every Monday. It's sick, it really is. Please write to your congressman or something.
Can someone tell me what the spanish part means? BabelFish gives me this. "Drunkard, Bilando with your... spouse." It translates esposa randomly to either wife or husband, so I figured it must be spouse. It can't seem to figure out Bilando for me though. :( |

| Five Iron Frenzy – Where's Micah Lyrics
| 20 years ago
|
I read in an interveiw that this song is about Micah (their lead guitarist) missing practices. Apparently, Micah thought he was pretty fast at learning songs, so he hated practicing. He'd then "Forget" to come to practice. As Keith said, "Micah, that might have worked better if practices hadn't been at YOUR house."
At any rate, this is a pretty funny song. It's really not one of their better ones (in my opinion), but it's deceint and it makes me laugh. It also made its return in "That's How the Story Ends" where Micah came back and had found Reese's comb. |

This song is about how good dog food is. Seriously, all of you should be eating dog food, it's good for you.
It also reminds me of the time I ate a dog biscut for a quarter. |

Yeah, like the mrbuhu said, it's about the hollowness and emptyness the world leaves you with. The only thing that can truely fill the void is God.
This is another of my favorite FIF songs, and one of the first ones I ever heard. Right after "Oh, Canada" and "Cool Enough For You". :P |

This song is hilarious. It's a cover (or it could be considered a parody I suppose) of a Shania Twain song. The beggining cracks me up every time I listen to it. |

| Brave Saint Saturn – Daylight Lyrics

I'm surprised no one has added any comments here, this is one of bS2's best songs.
It's about feeling lost and wondering if God really is there for you. They use being caught in an eclipse and losing contact with Earth as a metafore for this, and it's really good. Then end where they come out of the eclipse and Reese sings about realizing that God is there for you no matter what is beautiful. |
