When I listened through Mellon Collie the first few times I didn't pay much attention to this song. It was more in the background, and the music made me think of frogs. Most random thing ever, but now all I ever think about is frongs when I hear this song haha And I love it now too. |

The lyrics pretty clearly tell the story of a girl, abused as a child, who leaves home early and most probably gets into the drug and prostitution scene. Until the barriers she's built to help her cope separate her from everyone else and drives her to suicide. I reckon it's sad. Sounds beautiful as well. |

Bernard's brother had died before Vulture Street came out, and he says that most of the songs on that album were about him, even though they can apply to break ups or something. Awesome song, btw. |
