I love conor. He is a genius and an amazing writer. It's really cool how he can write such beautiful songs and tie everything together so perfectly. It's eerie how much i can relate to this song. When I first discovered bright eyes I was so exited that I had found a band that was so unique and talented. I told everybody about them and tried to get everybody to listen to their songs. It COMPLEATLY backfired. Half the people didn't get the lyrics so they wern't interested, and the other half were like "oooh conor's so hot...i love bright eyes" when really, they didn't get it either... he was just another celebrity to gape at and write his name all over their notebooks. Conor Oberst is amazing and he deserves to be recognised as that, but it annoys me how people idolize others just because of what they look like and what the "crowd" is doing....so yea, that's what I think. |
