i actually feel for the girl figure in this song! it seems like she has lost control and basically feels like shit. she is a drama queen (probably a little like myself) but the male figure has ignored her. i know noone will agree with this, and i guess its a kinda immature thing to do, but sometimes you need to be a drama queen. i don't know what im talking about, but try to look at it from the "suicidal" girls point of view. first of all: have any of you actually heard her sing live? she can't sing, and she's not a "punk skater", or whatever she reckons. She got paid to create this image because record companies thought it would sell. well would you look at that, it has! i bet she couldn't ollie over the stacks of money SHES making, while genuine artists are putting out REAL music! i absolutlely love this song! i think it is about a herion addiction, not a sexual addiction. the reference to finger, knuckle, elbow, etc, is not relating to "fisting" but rather to being "sucked" into addiction: the further you go, the further you are sucked into the downward spiral. However, i think all of maynards songs can be taken in different ways by different people. if you think it is about having a fist up your ass, thats ok, i don't think anyone but maynard himself can have the answer totally correct |
